Dhanaulti is fast emerging as a gem among the major travel destination in Uttarakhand, on the Mussoorie-Chamba road at 2250 m above sea level. Dhanaulti is a second sibling of Mussorie in Uttrakhand. Located just the distance of 24 km from Mussoorie, It is also a bliss for weekend getaways with a much lesser crowd than the queen of hills, Mussoorie. Meeting on the edge of Tehri Garhwal District, Dhanaulti shares its west-side border with Dehradun.

Build and maintained by the forest department of Uttarakhand. Local youth also highly indulge in maintaining the park. It comes as a pleasant surprise for the weekend enthusiastic travellers who find it more peaceful relaxing and serene. It’s a different experience altogether.

The most popular treks are through the dense alpine forests that take you to Surkanda Devi, Chandrabadni and Kunjapuri, the sacred three Shaktipeeths of the holy Devi Darshan triangle.
