Ranthambore – tourism spot in India is a city located in Rajasthan, it has two main tourist attractions, one is the Ranthambore National Park and another one is the Ranthambore Fort. It is a place where the beauty of nature touches from the sky to the ground. It is also one of the most widely selected places for tourism all over India.

Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambhore National Park or Ranthambhore is the fortieth largest national park in northern India, covering 392 km². Ranthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambhore became a national park in 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include the Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries.

Fort Ranthambore – tourism spot in India

Ranthambore Fort lies within the Ranthambore National Park, near the town of Sawai Madhopur, the park being the former hunting grounds of the Maharajahs of Jaipur until the time of India’s Independence. It is a formidable fort having been a focal point of the historical developments of Rajasthan. The fort is known for the glory and valour of Hammir dev of the Chauhan Rajput dynasty.
